Couldn't find my old thread but anyway I'm back promoting this shit because no other game really stacks up. Forget what you think you know about the game because it's probably wrong, and probably based on what the game was like years ago (it changes significantly every 6 months). I'm just going to say EvE has been running for over ten consecutive years now and that's a long time spent refining the game mechanics, UI and server performance to become the best in the business. It's also the only game out there that still has a growing player base after this long, as well as the only one where the developers will form up a fleet and come down to your neck of the woods for a brawl and even lose the fight because the universe they've created is so vast and self-sustaining that there's no way to know what certain groups in certain regions are capable of without taking a ship there and finding out first-hand. Never a dull moment.
