it's changed a lot in that sense, CCP has made some nice quality-of-life tweaks to make casual play accessible. some weeks i barely log in, nbd, then some weeks i spend hours on caffeine-fuelled rape scenes in the space lanes for ALLLLL TO WITNESS

Just watched this again because the peoples' voices were so driven and exciting, the real deal with the plans etc. They were better than the scripted speech and excitement of a movie scene. Epic.
