The duck journals don't give you anything, they're just a "friendly competition" which is total BS to pay 5 bucks for. Bought the journal anyhow to support the EoTL team wnd cause it looks nice while making quacking sounds.

Having the event span for another couple weeks does raise the question why so long though. Honestly, why would Valve end off the year in such a bazaar micro-transaction update? There has to be more to it than we think.

I agree my guess is there is going to be a second part to this update close to Christmas. I am just itching to know what the heck the duck journal has to do with anything.
