I just got in a 5 minute argument with a dumbass java developer who argued that a drug was not necessary for a drug claim. Yes, its in the name. On the database table, its a required field. Our entire application revolves around it.

I can't remember the last time I claimed, oh, I don't know, a car accident on my drug benefits.

It was a perfectly good topic about dumb people, to get us back on track: I'll disagree with Narf's and Fork's examples, because they are being too specific about KNOWLEDGE, whereas Leroy's topic is more about people who just can't comprehend basic concepts. Those people really ARE dumb.

Narf, I have no idea what AES or DES means, does that make me dumb? I'll guess A means analog and D means Digital, but that's the best I can do given no reference to your acronym.

My point is there is a DIFFERENCE between "lack of knowledge" and the ability to "gain knowledge", that's where the word DUMB comes in.
