Which DARKLY TF2 servers do you play on: I used to play on server 1 trade_rawr all the time before it pretty much died, now I mainly reside on server 2.
Why do you want to be a DARKLY TF2 Admin: I've been a long time player on DGN, and I want to help the TF2 servers in any ways I can. I understand that I've been involved with some drama that has took place almost 2 years ago now, and I have served ban time for said mistakes, and I have learned from the mistakes I made as well. I understand that this doesn't mean I didn't do them, but I've done what I can to make up for them. I have made a few close friends on Darkly, and I hope to make more. Sometimes, I'll be on a server and, for example, a hacker will join and there are no staff members to deal with him. I'll then have to message one of the staff members I have added, hoping they're able to come and deal with said problem. I'm usually on server 2, and I'm available most of the time, meaning I could help deal with these problems. I've also used the forums maybe 3 times total before, so I apologize for the inactivity on the forums.

Personally man, I've never had a problem with you getting out of line or causing shit on the servers while I've been around. I know there was some problems awhile back that caused some issues with not just you but many others. I wasn't staff at the time of these problems so it's not my place to pass judgement or blame on these issues. The staff that were around during that period may have a different opinion on the subject though. For whats it's worth though, I think you're a great addition to the community and have obviously done a lot to make up some of the trust that the bans might have lost.

For now I'm going to hold off on a yes/no decision. I wish you the best of luck on the app. man! We'll be watching.

Ditto - I did ban Dooter for the perms abuse a while back - but there have been no problems since that I am aware of - I have no objection to giving him a shot.

I think Dooter would make a fine staff member. I've never seen any complaints from other regulars towards him, and it's my belief that he is responsible and active enough now to be there to control himself (and issues) on the servers. While you did have some problems in the past, I think your history has been more good then bad in terms of where we are headed. All of that being said, I would like to have some comments from regulars at this point, just to validate where you stand in the community right now.

Heya dooter, glad you're aplying for staff, As stated by others you have your goods and bads(minimal). I'm a bit iffy because it was perms abuse when the donator was broken, having the power of even basic staff is a far greater power then just donator WE WIll BE WATCHING YOU. But you havent been an issue since as far as I can remeber. Just be aware your server attendance is a key factor in acceptent(especially now) see http://darklygaming.com/forum/threads/server-attendance-policy.1353/ (granted we only have servers 2, 4 right now)
So play more or expand your server coverage. WE NEED ACTIVE STAFF!

I had a lot of concerns when I saw this thread for the first time. I addressed these concerns directly to Dooter and his reply was very impressive. He was polite, formal, mature, and apologetic. Seeing that had me stumped about what to think of him until today. Seeing him on the server made me realize the truth in his words about how much he has changed from two years ago. Dooter is compassionate, friendly, and social with many people who were on the server. These are astounding qualities that would make him an excellent candidate for staff.

well dooter ive seen u on the server 2 for along time now bk when i was admin lol i no u by all them awesome spy unusuals u have lol but u was afk alot and things but people have said above. but now ur very friendly always say hi to me sand things so 1+ from me :D
