taking 3 pictures that someone took to illustrate the absolute worst of an industry and generalising the entier industry is wrong. Just as an example i bet i could find 3 pictures or quotes of you that would make you look like a total bitch. but taking things out of the context and forcing them on people is no way to argue something. out of the pictuers you posted 1 is a blatent anti meat propoganda add and another is 4 pictures of people transporting dead animals in third world conditions. for the second you have know idea where or what thos animals are being used for and the first shouldn't need to be pointed out as why it cant be passed as evidence of anything.

theres nothing here i would even begin to consider becomeing a vegitarian over. basically you are attacking the alternative to vegetarian rather than pointing out why it is good.

Negative, I'm all for eating meat, those fuckers just need to care more about how they kill the animals and to treat the animals with a little more compassion...

I saw a documentary like a year ago where there was an undercover guy working at a chicken mill/pig slaughter house and some of the shit was brutal... hanging HUGE fucking pigs that are fed so much with no exercise that their legs fail and they can't support their own weight... the guys just strapped a metal chain around the pigs neck and attached it to like a forklift, raised the fork and watched and laughed while the pig suffered (something about having so much fat around its neck that it took like 10 mins for it to die while resisting).... shit makes me rage

Peronsally I buy free range eggs and chickens, turkeys, and I'm very picky about the fish I buy, i also buy meat from some of the many farms in Ontario who don't torture animals. Farmers markets are great for that.

This is how the industry is going to change. By people voting (buying) the products they want and stepping up for the companies/people who do it the right way. By not eating meat because of how certian companies treat animals you are not-voting which also means you are not helping the industry change.

Eh I don't mean to be harsh, I'm just sharing my view.

Right on Cock! I'm actually kind of picky in that respect as well. Most of the inhumane methods of slaughtering animals could also be described as unhygienic to say the least. I'm also concerned about heavy metal contamination and antibiotic dosing on my seafood. I buy my beef from a local farmer who restricts his cows to organic feed and grass.

I totally understand your view and if I wasn't a vegan, I'd probably be just like that, but I'm not a vegan JUST because of animal cruelty. When I started 5 years ago, yes, that was the only reason. But I like the eating habits and it's healthy and simple once you get used to it.
