I just wanna once again thank everyone for the donations. Everyone actively involved in this place makes it that much better.

Donations month in and month out have given us alot of stability as a server. Thats gotta feel good.

On a side note, with the recent failure of the tournament and clearly seeing disappointment in many people, i think a small money/computer related prize tournament should be arranged to give back to the community. I have yet to speak with the BHA about this so forgive me guys but it was in my train of thought as i was writing this.

I will personally manage the tournament to make sure that all matches are over fairly and quickly. What u guys think?

im down

may i request we only allow those who participated to the best of their ability in the past tournaments to be allowed in the newest one. Or atleast the next one.

It's only fair to those of us who have put forth the effort in current tourneys.. you shouldn't be bribed with a prize in order to keep your word!

maybe someone design a good td logo and have TD mouse pads or shirts as a prize. Something not to expensive but still somewhat cool

Yeah we should be more strict about who is allowed to join the next tournaments. It would be cool if everybody kept their word and were committed, but of course there are no guarentees. Two things that might help:

-Allow designated subs to fill in for participants in case of emergency. When signing up, a few people can volunteer to be fill-ins if they feel like they can't commit to a full tourney, but would still like to help out.

-Very important; after discussing it in the forums, A DATE MUST BE DECLARED AND FINALIZED. If teammates don't show up on said date, their team will be penalized, by being a player short. (we can discuss implementing designated subs for emergency situations)

If these rules are put into motion I think it could solve a lot of the problems we have witnessed during this current tournament. And I say current because it ain't over motherfuckers!

well...even if they are not dedicated, the tourny will continue and they will not have a chance to win watever prize!

As for dates, i will pick certain dates which matches will be held. id like to have everything done in 2 nights MAX!

For the next tournament I strongly vote for an entry fee.
Let's say 5 bucks.

The money gathered will go into the prize. This way ONLY SERIOUS players will go for it.
If is free to sing, everyone will do it and then fck off.

And isn't this what we try to do? Make sure that non-serious casual people are not screwing up the others?
The entry fee will also force you to want to finish and do your best for the money.

And come on ... is just 5 bucks.
In real life, any serious competition is asking for an entry fee. That proofs that you are committed to show up and make sure you read and understand the rules and make sure you will be on time.

The problem with offering money is people get REAL pissed off for unfair play. I'd gladly kick in and compete, if we followed the CAL rules for capturing vids and that other thing steve was talking about.

then maybe no cash persay.

Toronto darkly themed something.

Il be part of this one too.
Everyone must be serious or their team will be short handed.

I had suggested tournaments with prizes from the beginning with a sign up fee. $5.00 is reasonable. If we have 40 people again (serious ppl lets say), thats $200.00 that will go towards prizes. No cash prizes.

Suggesed Prizes:

- Gift Cards (Bets Buy, Future Shop, etc)
- Computer accessories (mouse, keyboard, mouse pads, headset, etc..)
- T-Shirts / Hats (With TD Logo if we can make one)

Will we follow the same rules for team drafting as the current tourney?

Or will we make our own teams?

Names out of hat? etc.

as for the draw I was thinking of doing it via webcam with buck jr.

Names out of a hat always works. wat u guys think?

I suggest top 8 players are leaders, like the current tournament. That way skill and leadership is spread around evenly. And then after the leaders are in place, names can be drawn from a hat.
