I hate having to resort to these kind of appeals, but the admin community wants to bring attention to the fact that donations have fallen off the last several months, while our costs have continued to rise. A substantial investment was made in revamping the website and locking in better hardware at a competitive price for CS:GO launch while donations have fallen off. We have about one week left in the month and are sitting under 50% of our monthly target.

Please think about the number of hours of enjoyment you receive from playing on the servers and trolling the forums and donate today. Every little bit helps and I hope everyone agrees that everything DARKLY offers is worth the price of a hamburger and fries once a month. We take great pride the fact that we usually don't have to resort to begging to make ends meet, which is why we try to refrain from making these sort of appeals.

We are a user supported community and your donations give us a place to play. All donations (100%!!!) made to DARKLY are used to support this community. If you have a question about donations or how to donate please let myself or one of the other admins know.

i was waiting until the 31st at 11:59 pm to make my monthly donation. haha! I get paid Friday, and i always use the last paycheck of the month to make my donation.

Question, has the tf2 reserved slots done anything for us yet, what about the ads (i know this is only a small amount).

Website ads aren't having much of an impact and we didn't expect them to, they were meant just to fill in the gaps. I think we ended up getting maybe a handful of people purchasing the reserved slot. Again not enough to have a material impact.

Actually sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but although our trade servers are full all the time, not a single reserved slot has been bought to date. Google ads have not generated enough as of yet to make an impact, and we need to have a minimum of 100 dollars worth of ad generated revenue in order to take some of it out. Maybe in a few more months we will see some adsense revenue finally make its way in our pockets.

yup ive noticed this aswell. starting to wait till closer to the end of the month so I can see how much needs to be donated. It's hard to believe that so many people take TD for granted. WTB MOAR donate links. put them every damn where.

I was going to say something about that when they said money CS tourney... people should donate if they can afford to toss $10-$15 to be in a tournament.

Well done everyone, but I encourage people to still make small donations if you're able! We appreciate everyone stepping up to the plate, but we always hope to make sure that the burden doesn't fall solely on the large donors.
