The premise is that every Disney movie is just based on already drawn/animated series of movements/ideas/concepts etc etc. The purpose of this video is to show that all the movies incorporate the same sequences/scenes./movements in almost exact fashion - just with different characters and backgrounds... I think it's awesome... personally. I'm a developer and re-use of code is a pretty big thing. Why not reuse something you put time into.
If you take the time to choreograph a particular dance or movement once (I'm picturing bringing in an actor, watching them do a particular movement multiple times, sketching it out) and perfect it and it will work in another scene, why not? It's not like anyone watching a disney movie really notices it, that video was probably made by an animator for disney.

Mmmm...how about you think of it this way: would you buy a CD from a band if all they played were covers with maybe only 1 or 2 original songs? I probably wouldn't.
It's different from code, you reuse code because it's tried, test, and true in terms of performing tasks. You want stability.
This is a creative, visual piece for f*ck sakes!! For these guys it should be creativity and new stuff for each movie.

I think it's even more then Bjr implies, it's not just the reuse of the movements, it's also the timing, beat and rhythm of the music that's reused or else the movements wouldn't fit.
But Auron still got it right. You know how many drawings it takes to make a Disney film? Each frame is drawn by hand, that's 30 frames per second for 90 minutes or so. That's a lot of drawing. How much did you want to pay to see or buy a Disney movie?

He invented the technique of layers for each frame, that's the whole premise of his success. Most frames have reuse built in, or else it would take 4000 animators, 20 years to make one movie.
