historically, marriage derives far more from the exchange of property and contractual agreements than it does from religion. it all depends on how far back you look. this, in turn, will prompt you to ask yourself, "why bother looking back at all, since it has changed so much?"
answer: don't bother looking back, and instead focus on what marriage is today to most people. in the u.s.a., i would say that most younger people (the future) couldnt give two shits if tarin wants to marry some other guy.

I've given you legal answers, and all you say is that "No one deserves rights unless they were in the military."
Therefore, all people who have never served in the military cannot get married.

You said "You cannot get married if you are not religious."
I refuted that with my parents (who are nonreligious) and several couples I know that are married and atheist. Any man and woman of any religion or lack thereof can get married.

You said marriage is religious only.
I said marriage is a legal contract endorsed by state and federal governments. Evidence: marriage license + judges can marry people.
