so far so good, very slow starting game, and the horse is a bit hard to control sometime, my horse end up jump OFF the bridge and into a cliff, and got me killed 2 time, I'm only on my 4th mission, so didn't get too deep into the good stuff yet.
and there's a glitch where the npc end up in the wrong position or just went invisible in front of you and reappear again behind you. nothing major.
the map is pretty boring, it's like roaming around in the desert lol, and all you see is animals, I saw few skunk, didn't get close to them tho I don't know why.. lol, grass, trees LOTS OF TREES, and npc traveling from town to town. oh I just bump into a few bandit out in the field and got owned. XD

I haven't gotten too far into the game yet as well. So far so good.
I agree with Hinouchi, the horse is hard as fuck to control but it is realistic. I keep expecting the horse to stop and turn on a dime which clearly isn't possible. (Epona could do it =( )
I actually like the environment. I haven't explored it too much yet but from what it looks like, there should be soo many little nooks and crannies will all kinds of neat shit.
Highlight of the night, played poker in Armadillo. Wanted to purchase the room there in order to save without having to go back to the ranch where we started. So i played for a little bit and eventually won a pot with two players ALL IN and won like 80 bucks. It was insane lol.
I love the fact that I have literally done 2 or 3 missions and have still found something to do other than the missions for 2 hours, the game is soo expansive and open.

I was browsing around ign RDR forum and this thread asks what's the crazy random encounter within the game because there's supposedly hundreds. This guy reply with
"I was riding in the wilderness and this woman was lying on the ground screaming and begging for a ride, I slowed down and rode up to her, the whore threw me off my horse and took off and laughed "well aint you green" (meaning young and/or stupid i suppose) ....funny tho, she didn't look so smart herself with her brain all over the place "
