Fuckin brutal... i hope whoever is doing this gets jailed. Us little gaming communities cause no problems, why should any of our communities get attacked is beyond me...

Yeah, I'm really sad that this is happening. The vast majority of my 1600 hours have been spent playing in TD.

At least on the csgo side of things, darkly is the smallest east coast server I know of...One server that only gets players on at like...after 6 and we don't really get full until like 8-10. I doubt this is some kind of long term attack plan that specifically targets us, probably just randoms taking advantage of the holidays producing low staff members to deal with these things. I was just on the server, no packet loss noticeable. We'll see tonight, if I manage to get on.

JK. Looks like someone is targeting NFO and we're just one of many host affected by it. The server is still up and the jitters aren't as bad as the our old host, so that's good.

Edit: Could be one of the other communities hitting us, thinking we've been the assholes because we've yet to be attacked.. or not. Either way, I don't want to get into it. In hindsight, I can tell all communities getting nailed just want to move on.

Biggest problem I've read with regards to NFO is that they null route and can take sometime to put back online. If this is a common occurrence by a disgruntled player Darkly is sure in for a ride.
The ban list for 2013 isn't that large and only a handful disputed the claim and were rejected. You can only point fingers and would be near impossible to link anyone to a DDoS; It's not worth the effort to even point that finger.
