Darkly TF2 Pub Server

Hey guys, I have a rather large group of people looking to find a stable server to call home with regular admin/mod support and my first thought was of Darkly but I see the regular play server is offline?

Are there plans to bring this back online? If so would I be able to speak to someone about it?

So it's only temporarily down then? I added that IP to my favourites and it's not appearing in the list. Also clicking the Server List on the forums shows it with a red square beside it.

Thanks Gatherix, I was using the one Delta provided which I'm guessing wasn't TF2.

I have a couple questions, does the pub server have a Nominate map function? Also how does it stand up under a 32 player load?

FYI http://www.darklygaming.com/our-servers shows the Darkly Pub TF2 server as offline and doesn't currently provide an IP

There is currently not a Nominate function; it should withstand a 32-player load, though I don't think it's ever actually hit that level of traffic. Because there's generally very little traffic on it (there were like eight people on yesterday, was surprised), though, suggestions or requests by regulars (including the ones you mentioned) hold a little more merit. So if these minions you speak of do end up frequenting the server, we can make changes upon request provided they're not drastic or something we don't approve of.

Only time I remember people being in the old pub was when zacky and 14bux and a bunch(like 6) of people went on at once.

Thanks Gatherix, I will see what I can do tonight to get the server up to a 32 man load to test it out.

I think the things the group will want most are:
Nominate & Vote on nominated map function
Points counter (Trivial yes but they likes it)
Stability at 32 people
Admin availability to deal with douchewads

Dunno what you mean by a points counter. I'll setup the nomination thing later - let me know of any specific maps you want me to put on the rotation. It should work fine at 32 players, I'd be surprised if it didn't. Admins and Mods don't really visit the server, though if the traffic increases we'll try to hit there more often. Additionally, since it's a pub server and not a trade server, vote functions such as muting, scrambling, kicking, et cetera are implemented and can be used freely. Give the server a shot (nominate may or may not be working at the time) and let me know what you guys want changed.

We use GameMe, which is basically the same thing as HL Stats but from a different provider. As far as I know it actually provides more info than HL Stats, so you should be set; take a look at the page I linked.

Also pub play time is 7 hours now:)
