Do you have a working mic? Nope. I prefer not having one.
How often do you play CS:GO? Daily to every other day. More so on weekends.
Do you mostly play during the afternoon, evening, or late night? Afternoon/Evening
Which DARKLY CS:GO Servers Do You Play On? Competitive mostly, rarely on the Casual server
Why do you want to be a DARKLY CS:GO Admin?
I would ban everyone in sight. I kid.
I feel that I'm a fair and calm person who has seen enough Counter-Strike (1500hrs combined) to understand the skills and personality needed to admin on a server. I play almost on a daily basis on the Competitive server for several hours and have been actively analyzing and posting hacker information on the Ban Request board. I have administrated before and understand what it takes to admin fairly and justly. I would lead by example and follow any guidelines laid out for this server, and would be absolutely sure that any commands that I used were for the right reasons.
I find that the server has an influx of TKers, blatant hackers, or suspicious players, which can't be avoided due to the newness of the game and when nothing is done about it within the server because there doesn't seem to be many admins playing at any given time (which I don't blame, because we all have lives).
What I care about is having a fair and dickless game with others on the server. I would consider myself a pretty decent player and with my experience, I believe my best asset is being able to 'feel out' hackers on the server. There's nothing I dislike more than cheaters in online games and I personally find it fun to scope them out and get them banned, taking plenty of time to confirm my suspicions before acting. Since I've started playing on the server (since CSGO's release really), I've found about 5 confirmed hackers, all of them having demos/recordings as evidence. I used to do this on MonctonCS quite often as it was a personal 'quest' of mine to ensure fair games. As such, I continue to record and archive various hackers when I find them, as well as any suspicious players I'm watching. I have no problem playing with FRAPS active and editing/compressing the videos takes very little time for me.
I generally keep to myself while playing online and I try not to belittle others (though I have to admit, I do get annoyed sometimes with my team waiting for me to die so they can take my equipment, but that can change easily), and am usually somewhat detached from any video game I'm playing. I never take it too seriously (just watch me try to taze anyone I can), and am rarely ever angry at players. I do chat, but I try not to because I'm usually focused entirely on the game. However, I would be glad to respond or chat with anyone that needs help on the server. I usually disable voice, because I find it's more of a distraction than anything, but I would commit to having it enabled all the time if necessary.
I would make it my duty to represent the server in the best way that I can with reasonable decisions and visible proof of any more serious actions, like banning hackers.
Thanks.
