It would help introduce CS 1.6 players to DARKLY and our future CS:GO servers.

I would be down for playing for the nostalgia factor, but only if the other TD fags wanna tough it out in there with me.... we would have to see what game modes are most popular for 1.6 and maybe see if we can get some regs.

the whole "if you build it they will come" theory does not work out well for gaming servers
to have a 1.6 server we need a solid 1.6 in-house gamer base, not 1 or 2 guys who occasionally play 1.6, but 15-20 hardcore faggots who are still wearing fruit of the loom briefs their mom got them for christmas back in 1992.
in fact, GO will only work if at least half of our population transfers over, if not all of it, and then source will die... hopefully.

I am having a hard time even committing to GO after playing BF3 as it suits my time/game play, and it's prettier and more varied.
I leagued in 1.6 and lets just leave it at that... bored to tears now. I think Source got more gameplay from me from GG (that's how I found BP then Darkly actually).
