I think the game is far to old for Darkly to break into the market.

Hey hey now. Back when i played TF2 much more than CSS our TF2 i remember our servers were always bumping.

I think all the updates every day coupled with the down time our TF2 servers had, people got fed up and left.

If you remember, it got to a point where the servers filled up on their own regularly and a few people even joined the forums.



But yah, after the down time finally got figured out and what not, it was too late/extremely hard to populate.

Yup. A lot of the most popular servers are in Europe, probably South America, too.

While the change of pace and re-addition of old maps and items would be good, if GO is about to come out, perhaps put those resources to the side for future expansions.

There's plenty of PL servers and such, what DARKLY has in Trade Quality, is unmatched by other 'competitors'. DARKLY is lacking in an active regular player base, where trade forums are actually used for trading purposes, lately, all I see is crickets, but the servers are a different story.

Is there a game that TD/DARKLY members enjoy most? Perhaps view that area.

yeah Jakk, when we originally launched our trade servers only two Darkly guys even traded. Never really had a large ammount of Darkly guys who played tf2, let alone traded.

I guess because Trading is while the biggest part of TF2, its also still that, a part. I don't find the gaming to be much fun anymore so I just trade and goof around on the servers. Uncertain but I'm sure others may pop up once in a while, DARKLY's known for trade, even if it doesn't have active members within it that play on it. That's why I was so eager and still am for a TD Tag, to arbitrate and advertise for the forums and the CS:S section, I've let a few traders who play on there know about it and invite them into the DARKLY group.

I tried to run one a while back, would play by myself for hours and got it populted to like...9... once. I would definetly play! specially since it'll run on my laptop.

There isn't. In fact, there isn't a point in TF2. If you want real TF2, I could direct you to some great servers, but Trading is a different kind of community all together.
