I have a desktop pc for gaming and a macbook for work. sometimes i park my macbook beside my computer screen.

I was wondering if anyone could help me find a product that lets me simply move my cursor/keyboard over to my macbook?

Never heard of that one before ...

I know there are some stuff like "switches" that will allow you to move from one computer to another as long you use the same monitor. But not sure that will allow you to pass the same keyboard and mouse as well.

Not sure you can do something like that by software though ... sound kind of impossible. especially when there are 2 different type of OS ...

Yeah iv heard of those before. sounds like an option. and yeah having two different os's makes things difficult. I'm sure theres something out there. they do have Maxivista, but that just turns your second pc into another monitor.

it would be rly sweet to have my mac doing all its maclike things, and my pc doing all its pc like things. Then, have a program installed on my pc and mac. so i can just press a hotkey and use my peripherals to work on my mac, then press the hotkey again and start shooting people on TD =p

I've used it for PC to PC before. I had an iogear, and it was using ps/2. U press a set of keys and everything switches to the other machine. They work pretty well.

KVM is your only option. The only other option that I can think of having a bluetooth mouse (Mac has bluetooth, you'd have to get your PC to have bluetooth as well - FutureShop, $39.99, or have a friend buy it on staff for like $10).

Then you can just "reconnect" the device to mac of pc as needed.

Bunn the wifi solution, you won't find it.
