Confident or Not Confident

Do you feel confident or not confident that life for our children's generation will be better than it has been for us?

It really depends on what you mean by better and worse. Ultimately life just changes, but the core things that make up the majority of our (typically pointless) lives never change.

The lives of my grandchildren will be easier in a lot of ways (a lot less physical effort), a lot more things will be automated, and health conditions should be better (although "nature" or "fate" or "god" seems to always be a step ahead of us with some fucked up illness) but I don't think that'll make day to day life better or worse.

Global warming will have our grandchildren shaking their heads at the fact we kill trees to wipe our ass's... Not to mention Bounty paper towel sheets that are thicker than dish rags... The Age Of Stupid is here.

depends if you consider nuclear winter a better life or not, might be kind of interesting at least to try and survive, nuclear summer is after and i believe everyone will be dead/die then.

Worse for sure. Cost of living is pushing families in first world countries to live like they're in a third world country.

World Bank son, either your involved or you're their bitch.

I think the problem, is that when our lifestyle changes (every few decades) it gives rise to new diseases and health problems, this is because the human race can only adapt at a fraction of the speed that technology does. Hence, modern medicine will always be playing catch up.

I think the next thing that needs to be bred into humans via natural selection, is a respect for the world around us, and a deep understanding that we are NEVER separate from nature, because we need it to live.
