Chrome Extensions

I've recently been looking into modding up my browser with cool extensions but don't know which ones to choose from. I have AdBlock and Ghostery installed but that's it. If you have any suggestions I'd love to hear them.

I use the spotflux chrome extension when I'm at school, I can bypass all of the internet restrictions with that. If you ever get on a network that blocks websites, try that VPN in browser.

AdBlock or ABP (AdBlock Plus) don't run both
Similarly, Ghostery is good, used it for a long time, but I have have switched to Disconnect and prefer it. Only run one or the other.

If you don't have tonnes of RAM, and you often have too many tabs open, The Great Suspender is great. Suspends tabs after a time you determine to free up resources.

tampermonkey. there's a library of scripts to use, most of them just add functionality to YT and Google-related shit, or if you know some JS you can roll your own scripts and hack up your favorite sites. it's really handy if you want to roll your own queries on LAMP sites where the front-end is usually too "user friendly" to include half of the available query options.
