i grew up in a military family... hell my momma wore jump boots and my dad wore rubber boots, and yer damned right i was smacked and spanked as a kid, never enough to really leave a mark but enough to let you know you fucked up and pay attention to what the hell yer doing... these parents who let theyre kids run wild because they are afraid of a little discipline are the problem along with the over protective ones... who by the way are worse and are responsibile for the number of allergies these days, as they will use these ridiculously powerful cleaners to kill of all bacteria in their homes therefore not letting their childrens immune systems build tolerances , let yer kids play in the damned dirt and scrape their shins... and there is no need to go to the extreme and try and make yer home like a cleanroom in a hospital... this shit is getting excessive
