Agreed a very good game but you see the thing I was talking about was taking a german scheizer in our mouths not braging. kind of offensive hu? I myself again I don't speak for every american would not say such things about canada its just disrespectful. But its all good I'm sure it was just in the heat of the moment. Can I also bring up the point as to we have no were near the amount of talent the rest of the world had in hockey. And yet we still made it to the gold metal round.

dude, this guy doesn't represent TD so don't worry about it...

USA has quite a bit of talent if you ask me, and a lot of depth, not a lot of stars like Canada but you never know in one-game eliminations like the Oylmpics... Canada is just simply better and they should win the top events more often :P

USA has a population of over 300 million people in the states. Sure 30% or more are obese and never to have played an athletic game save for Wii golf, but even if only 20% of the population of the US is even athletic, thats still 60 million people to choose athletes from all ranges of sports from.

Canada has a population of under 40 million people. Don't give me crap that the US doesn't have as much 'talent' to choose from unless you're willing to admit that America is full of bums with 2% being athletic in some way.

Well I was not. Talking about population I was talking about talent canada had all the big stars. That's alll I was sayinging. Most of the players that live and play in america are origionaly from canada. Not to say that they should not go over and play for there home country but when you do look at the talent that was in the olympics there were a lot beter teams then usa is all I was saying..........thanks for calling us lazy and fat anyway

We have plenty of talent, its just that not a lot of our athletes play hockey. Our hockey programs(HS and younger developmental leagues) are pretty weak, and on top of that, hockey is not as popular here.

Hockey shares the winter sport season with Basketball, wrestling, and swimming, all of which are at least as popular or more popular than hockey here(to play, at a HS/College level).

None of the above is an excuse or rationalization for our lose yesterday day. We still have amazing hockey players, and the skill gap between Canada's best and the US's best isn't as big as you guys would like to believe.

The most valuable hockey player was an American after all
