anyone else feel that there was alot of things on both sides that the ref's were not calling players on?

I think there was a total of 5 penalties during the entire game, and quite honestly the players were murdering each other at every opportunity.

Some are saying that it played more like an old-school NHL game.

Not saying its a bad thing, but watching the game was like watching the final match for the Stanley Cup in a way.

yeah i laughed too, when they showed the replay you saw him trying to push him even more after the initial collision,

the Ref was right there and like "wtf you doing" and just waved the US player on.

Indeed. Gold medal games, you have to let the teams play... you don't want the refs to call soft penalties and ruin the game... Officiating was great in my mind...
