Should I finish the terran missions before doing the protoss? Or does it matter? I did a couple protoss missions, they are getting pretty hard on hard.

ya do the zeratul missions, if you finish the teran missions you cant go back and do them in the proper context

yes, do all the protoss missions, if you complete the game and dont, you will have to restart the entire thing to gain access to them

also, look up on the internet on how to make mad money, and buy out all of your upgrades, you get an achievement for that

because if you complete the game, you wont have access to the armory anymore and are forced to again complete the game to get the achievement :/

Anybody able to do the Zero Hour on Hard completing that last achieve? (Destroy all 4 zerg lairs)

I'm finding it really hard to do that and defend the base within the time limit :o

yeah it took me a number of tries, i saved often because sometimes the battles would just go wrong

basically first pump out marines and scv's

each choke point is blocked by 2 bunkers and 1 supply depot in between them, i know you dont like to "turtle" but this strategy is amazing vs computer since it makes the zerglings ineffective

i build a few more turrets next to the already existing turrets, and like 1 more turret to the left most side

you can leave the upper ramp bunkers unammed, no one will get in there

assign at least 1 SCV to each choke point, and assign more once you get a chance, i had 3 by the end of the mission at each end

2 bunkers + 3 scv's was auto mode for me, i didnt even have to worry about base saftey.

while this is happening get enough units to save the two stranded marine groups (there is also a third that will appear later on)

then i would patrol that arc of land in front of your base so that more zerg dont spawn, and pump marines/medics unitl you get atleast 1 full control group.

i attacked the bottom left base first, making sure to let an "attack wave" pass, then i charge!

that base gives you 3 hatcheries, then rebuild (i proably lost 50-60% of my army) and go for the base to the top left,

i got it with about 2 minutes to spare

you get achievements :/

if you're not an achievements type of guy then no, you dont "get anything"

although the majority of the achievements are actually really hard to get, and trying to accomplish them may teach you better play

Do you get anything for doing the achievements?

Some unlock new portraits and other stuff like that, but nothing that will give you an advantage over other players in-game. Except for maybe some intimidation (i.e. OMG he's got the Kerrigan portrait!!)

This message contains spoilers. Did anyone choose to side with tosh? What happens to nova if you do? Are spectres good?

you get a different mission, and you get a specter instead of a ghost, with the only difference being the stun ability instead of the sniper shot ability...

neither of which is going to be used much later on

Just choose the side you want to choose -- the missions are different and the cinematic afterwards is different, but you can go to the archives to do the side you didn't choose and see what happens. I chose the Nova side and I enjoyed that cinematic more :D very funny too

spectres are badass, dunno about ghosts but spectres can cloak w no energy, so for missions like that one where u have to run around the map picking up scrap to give to that chick, 1 spectre = win

both specters and ghosts in the campaign have the ability to remain cloaked the entire game, you just have to purchase that trait in the armory.

Otherwise they are an identical unit.. their only difference is that the specter gets a stun charge (straight out of WC3) while the ghost gets the usual "snipe" shot, although i think Nova's deals much more damage than the multiplayer ghost.
