Ban Reason: I was raffle scamming.

My case: I admit that what I was doing was wrong and I was scamming. I take full responsibility for everything. I scammed people, took their 2 scrap, and ran. This was completely my fault and I doubt that you will unban me. However, I am completely done with my scamming. I'm finished with it. I feel bad about scamming people and taking their scrap, and I would like to ask that you temporarily unban me, so I can prove that I have stopped. Just unban me on one server so I can prove it. I understand why you wouldn't unban me at all, and I don't really expect you to, but I swear that I am completely done. I earned 1 key after the scamming on your servers, and I'm willing to give it to an admin to give back to the people I scammed. I get why you wouldn't unban me, but just please consider it. I will make my name in steam "Octopus95731" until 6/30/13 so you can find me on steam and talk to me if you would like. Thank you for your time, and I'm truly sorry for what I've done.

Well I will be completely honest and explain that as best I can. Novasorisrex is a good friend of mine that plays on the same trading servers I do. He may of been on the same time as me on the trading servers, he did not raffle scam or help me raffle scam anyone. We've been friends on steam for a long time, but he has never helped me scam anyone nor has he ever scammed anyone at all to my knowledge. I could be wrong on this, seeing as I'm not with him 24/7, but I don't have any knowledge or memory of him scamming anyone.

Although this probably won't help him, I've known him irl for years and we're best friends, but I'm not going to lie for him. I'm honestly not sure why his account would be listed as an alternate account for me. Perhaps we happened to be on the same trading server when I was raffle scamming, somehow saw that we were friends or knew each other, and assumed that he's was in on it, but I assure you, he never helped me with my scamming. In response to your third question, he knew that I was raffle scamming, but he never attempted it himself as far as I know. I talked to him about it and he said that he would feel too guilty if he did it, although I know that doesn't prove anything. He never told me that he was raffle scamming nor did I ever catch him doing it, so to my knowledge, he never did it. With all due respect, if you have some proof regarding him raffle scamming, I would like to see it please.

It's quite odd to myself that your friend has not complained to you about being Tagged as a Scammer.
Seeing as he has appealed, and that you two are friends, and have been for "years", I would think that he would have.

I apologize for the confusion, but he did complain to me. I knew that he had been tagged, but I thought it had been for no reason. I'm sorry that I didn't make that clear. Apparently, I was wrong. I suppose he did scam. I'm sorry for my misinformation. He completely deserves the ban. I'll talk to him later today and show him this post. At the moment I have to go for Independence Day things. Alright I'm back. As I said before, he had previously complained to me about the scammer tag and did talk to me about the ban appeal, but he said that he had been banned for no reason and I thought that he was telling the truth because I knew that he wasn't an alternate account for me. Obviously, he was scamming and someone just thought that he was an alternate account for me because they had been scammed by my raffle scamming as well, but I had no idea that he was scamming. That being said, I will be completely cooperative and give you any information about either of our scamming that I have, but I don't know much about what he's done. I didn't get a chance to talk to him tonight but as soon as I do I will confront him about his scamming. Do you have any more questions about his scamming?

Could you please go into detail about any and all scams that you have committed.
Please, don't write full stories on each one, though. Just some information on what you did will be enough.

Also, what is the approximate number of Victims you have claimed?

Well pretty much all scams were the same. I would go on a server and say "I'm doing a raffle for a robo key. 2 scrap to get in." I would put this in the chat and say it over the mic. When someone would trade me I would say "Just an fyi the more metal you put in the better your chances are at winning but you don't have to." They would then proceed to give me 2 scrap or more metal and would go back to playing on the server. I would stay on and do this to 2-3 more people. Most of them put in 2 scrap only but 1 guy put in 1 ref. If someone would ask when the raffle was starting, I would say in 10 minutes. If someone wanted to friend me, I would let them, and then block them as soon as I left the server. As for the amount of people I scammed, I'm not entirely sure, but at least 15, probably more around the 20 mark. In total I got about 1 key from your servers. This was after I scammed everyone and then went and traded the metal for the key. To be exact, it was 5.66 ref I scammed in total. Anyway, as soon as I got 2-3 people in the raffle on a server, I would leave the server and change my name. I went by 2 names: Bilbo Swaggins, and Sir Derpington. I think once I put it on Mr. Derp, but I'm not entirely sure. Moving on, I would never go on the same server twice in a day, or around the same time the next day. This is because I didn't want anyone that I had scammed previously to be on the server the next time I was on. I'm 99% certain that I never scammed the same person twice ever. That's pretty much my entire system in complete honesty. Feel free to ask any questions.

Somehow, that led to me having the thought that people will do anything to get something expensive for cheap and I had the thought that I could do legit raffles to get money from people. Then I realized that I could get the money without paying out anyone and that led to my scamming. This was about 3 weeks ago. My trade ban lasted 2 weeks and I raffled for about a week, maybe a day or so more.
