Mozilla, a software company who specializes in an internet browser, making a cell phone.

google. an internet advertising company who offer a number of free servises that are very helpfull to the consumer but there ultimut goal is to track your browsing habits and make better targeted ads for you. makes one of the 3 biggest names in smartphones and are pretty damb good at it now.
that being said i wouldnt get this phone simply because its the frist one there making. the frist iphone was kinda shity and the first androids were realy shitty. some cool ideas in the phone tho, somthing to watch for sure. i hope it works out for them

You forgot the whole part about google coming up with very powerful methods of searching the internet and storing this data, plus being a gigantic software development company whose scope of research and development is significantly greater than mozilla and covers way more than just selling ads.
Your point is taken, for sure - but I dont think mozilla == google, even google in its earlier days.

looks like a pretty old article huh? 2010? Comment @ the end of the page says Mozilla has no intent in developing a phone.
But real talk, the way technology is heading is super cool, and having advanced features like that would be awesome. But for sure, like brades said, I can't help but think about the battery life concerns of a mobile device with that much power.
