Best Movie You've Seen This Year
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What's the best movie you've seen released this year in theaters? If you don't go to the movies, what's the best rental you've seen that was released this year?
HooB.wg
Hacking Faggot
Paranormal Activity was great,
But the pick has to go to Avatar, that movie was off the fucking chain.
Am I the only one who hated Paranormal Activity? wasn't scary at all, this coming from a major horror fan, was boring as fuck, same goes for The Blair Witch Project, same shit different year.
Best movies i've seen this year? Hmm...
Star Trek, District 9, Zombieland.
If you were scared, you fell for a group dynamics psych experiment! The movie COULD have been good, but in fact it was bad IMO.
Avatar was pretty balling...even in 2D. I kinda wanna Imax3D it now
as gay as Avatar looks ive heard its fucking epic.
YOU SAW IT IN 2D!??!?!
NOOOOO!!!!
dude, that fuckin movie in 3D didnt have the best storyline, but the characters and the absolutely amazing visuals played it out to an A-Class caliber.
When the movie got out me and my bros just fuckin sprinted around town we were so excited... then i went to basketball practice, fml.
inglorious basterds and district 9
hated star trek with a passion
p.s. im a movie snob and I feel so horrible lookin at the various picks from you guys :P
1. Inglorious Bastards - One of my all time favourites too. And Tarantino's cinematography is so rich too, I love it.
2. Avatar - Just because the story wasn't as near as well done as #1. But the imagination that Cameron put into it is amazing, and of course 3D is out of this world. It made me wanna live on Pandora.
Yes, yes, CGI this, hype that... The fact remains, that the movie's portrayol of "ghosts" and "spiritual attack" is the most realistic ever seen on flim to date.
No smoke, no spookey wind noises, just straight up haunting. That's where my fear came from - just the ever so small THOUGHT, that if a "haunting" (or whatever you want to call it) would ever occur, this movie showed what it could quite possibly be like - minus the gay ending.
I, too, am a horror fanatic, and to me the movie was incredibly realistic - granted you have to accept that a "haunting" is at all plausible, first. :)
sister's cock was a fucking horrible movie. Inglorious bastards made me laugh my ass off, district 9 was also very funny, with esploding people and all
