This build was a massive upgrade 2 years ago from my previous computer and for like only $1000

Core 2 Duos are said to be one of the best value-per-dollar CPU's in history. I had one, just upgraded to this one within the last year or 2 (gradually). At least your video card is competitive.

Out of curiosity, what fps do you run CS at? Can it run at a steady 300?

lol 300, maybe if im alone in the server in a secluded area. i go from heavy gfx with smoke and shooting 70fps-200fps in cleaner areas. the new CSGO maps dip to about 40 @_@

I tried it but the program uninstalled itself when I ran it. Some error of not being worthy to run on my PC... I'll try again later after I hit some random components with a hammer to make it slow down a bit.

Try putting it in the oven for 25 minutes on 450.

I ran it once with the CD and once without (the first time I didn't have a CD in the drive for it to read). It added about 150, so you can safely add that to your score probably if your drive isn't horrible.

Wow white, time for an upgrade in preparation for GO I guess.
