I'll watch games, but the people who don't get paid to keep box scores can seem odd. I do agree that not for profit box score keepers tend to be overweight and wear hats that indicate they have gotten caught in the rain multiple times.

He's a below average fielding shortstop at best. His offensive numbers are nice, but range and quickness is absolutely necessary as a shortstop.

Don't know why you have such a hard-on for him (Jeter) ice. Papi may have his rough patches, but fuck, he still puts up numbers. Yeah yeah yeah he's the franchise player but he is surrounded with quality players all the time which I truly believe makes him look much better than he really is.

This year he had a .270 avg with 10 homers compared to his .334 avg and 18 hr the previous year. I can think of a few better shortstops that can put up better numbers offensively as well.
