Why didnt you tell a mod or admin? Youve filled out reports before saying nothing could be done cuz a mod/ admin are not online. Well how about when we are online you actually use us. Locate, Antimoon and I are currently online. Why not say something while its going on, opposed to after the fact. I know Ive asked you before to do this.. anyways.. I joined server #1 and this zads guy is still here, hasnt said anything yet tho.

I asked Antimoon to go check this guy out on #1 prior to myself making the report because I felt it was only fair for him to handle it knowing that he was the one that helped me make the judgement that he wasn't a legit Valve admin. I asked him but I am not sure if he got the message because now that I look back at it, he didn't respond so it would have been best to ask another mod but also in the same time I didn't ask you because many times I find you afk so there is no point in even messaging you because the situation is already long gone, or has been solved by another moderator. Next time I will just ask all the moderators and if they are present they can all just handle it, but I typically just like to ask certain people and in this case it was the guy that helped me out.

Note: I was not on the server this particular time as even for a few other requests I wasn't actually in-game, but after messing around with the gameE stats website and looking at my chat log, stats, etc. I came across his message in chat about being a valve admin, so knowing this I proceeded to investigate which is the case for a fair amount of requests before this one. Not entirely sure, but I think it was 15 minutes after he stopped chatting, so I am sorry I didn't see his messages earlier, I guess.

As long as you have his chat logged into the stats, a screenshot is not required.

JhDevils10, the chat logs are sufficient evidence for a local ban; screenshots are necessary only for alleged offenses that contain an element other than a single individual's chat history that recording in the server logs. HappySticks™, although you are under no binding obligation to contact an admin/mod in these situations (and a report is certainly helpful), if one is immediately available contact he/she if you are able for the sake of expediency. Filing a report, if done so in the correct format and with legitimate reason, is never incorrect, nor is contacting an admin/mod.

EDIT: Both contacting an admin/mod and filing a report is the best course of action when in doubt or unsure.

I will not be forwarding this to SteamRep as no clear intent to scam or otherwise covetous behavior was evident.
