Ban Request section(s)

I mistakenly posted a ban request under the Ban Appeals/Ban Requests section - assuming I think understandably that this was the right section to do so. I also posted using an incorrect format, because though i searched the section for a template for submitting a ban - there exists no such template in this section.

If I may humbly suggest that perhaps the Ban Requests title and content be centralized to a single location, or at least a single location per game for ease of use and to minimize confusion.

Did you miss our Bans & Ban Appeals forum thread? Within it also are stickied posts up top showing how to submit ban requests or appeals using our format.

I did - when scrolling through the list I came first upon the Ban Appeals/Ban Requests section - given the title, it seemed to be the appropriate location - and thus suggested little need to scroll further looking for what it appeared I had already found.

I am feeling Tick Tock Man on this one (not literally), but I messaged him earlier today and we talked a bit about his ban request, I had commented that sometimes I am also a bit confused as to which to post a certain topic in but if you carefully read the news threads towards the top, you shouldn't have any sort of problems figuring it out.

Or you can just ask one of the staff members or admins.....

To keep it simple...

Post anything related to TF2 in the TF2 sections of the forums. This includes the TF2 Trade Forums and the Team Fortress 2 category. If your TF2-related post doesn't seem to fit in to any of the TF2 sections, then post it where you find most appropriate.

The TF2 sections do contain their own dedicated ban requests/appeals and scammer requests/appeals section; post your reports there.
