+1 This is the point I was attempting to make in an earlier post. I see Zacky's point that it may not be likely, however I'd prefer if community decisions (especially ones with as large implications as the vote at hand) not fail/pass due to randoms that may have scewed the votes. I think it's important for the community to get a community decision, not a community decision that may have been scewed.-1 to banning political discussion. as always, the key is keeping things civil. serious f'n business is the only place for these discussions though. and, like others are saying, if you don't like the thread, stay out of it...
