Got banned from server instantly as soon as i joined. Im a pretty new player (only been playing for a few weeks) can't figure out why ive been banned. Tried downloading a few skins perhaps one of them was corrupted? TorontoDarkly is my favourite server (local) and its really the only reason why i play CSS, I very rarely ever play on another server... It would be appreciated if the ban could be lifted so i could once again play with my fellow gamers and friends.

According to SB, you have been banned for : Reason KAC: ConVar sv_consistency violation

Reason given is, "ConVar sv_consistency violation" by Console.
It might be those skins. Restore the original skins and maybe one of the admins can drop that ban for you.

Your skins may have something to do with it. Reinstall the game with all the original skins and configs. This was a server sided ban because the convar and the value provided by the client does not match the servers.

Well of course you are still banned. We haven't unbanned you yet lol. So if you reinstalled with all the original configs, you should not get banned again when you join the server.
The reason there is such a strict policy on skins is because some people use bright skin to their advantage, which is pretty much considered hacking.

First of all. The skins have nothing to do with sv_consistency. So if you have anything else you want to tell us, now is the time to come out clean. If you downloaded anything else along with you skins that you intended to try on the server, now would be a good time to tell us.
Secondly, whatever application you used to get you banned, also got you banned on the global KAC list. This means that you can no longer play on ANY KAC server such as TD with your current SteamID. Even if we unban you from our server's list, it does not make a difference, we cannot take you off the global list. So in other words, you are shit out of luck.
If you wish to play on TD (and many other KAC servers) again:
1) I would strongly suggest you refrain from trying whatever you did today ever again.
2) You will need to purchase a new SteamID. CSS is currently on sale for $14.99.

Actually the ban was from KAC, not on our end, and I spoke to Kigen about it, he stated that it's impossible for skins to cause this and whatever you were running was trying to over ride the sv_consistency server setting so unfortunately we won't be unbanning, sorry. If you want to tell us what else you were running feel free, we might consider giving you another chance here.

This is becoming cyclical.
Your steamid was banned for attempting to override our server config. This resulted in an automatic and immediate ban of your steamID.
You said you didn't do anything except for DL skins and that you had even reinstalled a vanilla copy of CS:S.
We have literally 1000s of players join our server on fresh or unaltered copies and even modified (skins, models, plugins, etc) of CSS and they never result in bans such as yours.
So, it is only logical for us to assume you have done something besides just adding harmless skins/models to your css folders. Whether or not YOU did it or not, your version of CS:S + steamID was flagged for this and as far as I can tell, you are not going to be unbanned until either:
a) you find out what you actually did purposely or inadvertantly to your CSS configs through the addition of mods/addons
b) come to your senses and remember something you changed/edited to your config
c) admit you may have experimented with hacks
d) claim innocence and stay banned until a-thru-c is cleared up

It's not a config issue, that's the thing, the server forces such things as sv_cheats or sv_consistency to whatever the server default is, go ahead and set sv_cheats to 1 and join the server, no issues, I do it all the time when I am testing my maps I am working on, however when you are running something that tries to force the server into allowing such cvars, KAC detects it. Tiemenz, whether he was aware or not, was running such an application when he joined our server.

Even IF i WAS aware i was running a malicious program, i still haven't committed any offense at all... so i dont understand how/why i deserve a ban.
