State your case: Hello, as many of you know, I really love this server, so I'm just going to start off by stating that I would never by any means attempt to ruin or lower anyone's experience in darkly. This is my first offense, and is a very serious, matter: I was using commands that I should not have been able to use. Unfortunately for me, admins looking through the logs would not be able to see what I would say in between using these commands (as my usage was rare). I would use the !slay command only when someone was interfering with a spycrab or other similar event, and I would use the !sm_team command if they persisted. I thoroughly apologize for any of my misconduct and promise wholeheartedly to never use any commands again. I also would use the !swap command, which I was unaware was against the rules until very recently. Another point, is whenever I would use the slay command or sm_team command, I would warn the player extensively beforehand and ask them politely to stop interfering. I saw myself as something of a moderator, which I am not. In the future, I have very thoroughly learned that I need to contact an admin to deal with these issues, instead of trying to deal with them myself. Hopefully my appeal appeals to you admins, and hopefully I can return with my head held high in the future, I am not asking necessarily for a full revoking of my sentence, but rather: a shortened one. My ban from (my all time favorite tf2 server) is timed at 1 month. I wish to have it reduced to in-between a day and a week. Thank you for taking the time to read over my case.
