It was pretty good. I think I prefer the individual hero films better though. Some of the scenes and dialog was kind of lame....and not enough of Scarlett's ass.

Notice how all the Male characters are all in fighting positions? I still can't figure out what the fuck Scar Jo doing.

Theres going to be a lot more individual movies. Sentry will be a new one. They're already remaking spider man to follow the actual story line. Fantastic four to follow the original story line and another xmen more centered on wolverine. The red Hulk movie, wasp, ms marvel and probably a few others. I honestly don't remember them all. However mini spoiler.. dont think its that big. All marvel films tie together in the end and are connected.

Would make sense . Im not much of a comic book fan but started reading up on the avengers and it's actually really interesting. It probably explains why they're remaking majority of the marvel comic movies so they properly fit in to the story line and so the next avengers when it comes out makes sense and is equally as good.
Far as i understand, that's a copyright issue. They are remaking SpiderMan because, well Toby sucks, but more importantly they will loose the Copyright they have on that Character.
Same reason they rebooted X-Men.

Speaking as a long-time Marvel fan, I thought the movie was enjoyable because they tossed in a lot of the comic book jokes that most people wouldn't understand if they hadn't read the comics... I guess that's where most of you find it "gay" or stupid.
Regardless, I think its a decent film. I lol'd hard at Hulk bashing Loki around like a radish.

I just want to say those huge slug shits didnt do anything but fly around, one crashed through a building chasing ironman but yeah...
Hawkeye was by far my favorite love that guy, but hulk was awesome too, the loki thing was great and when he smashed thor after they took down of those huge things was funny.
