EDIT: there are some who'll recommend AVG, and that's fine too, they're both free and do their job. I'm just recommending Avira because I've used that for 3+ years now.

atta boy. if your careful you wont need one at all. my old antiviruses pissed me off by minimizing CS:S to tell me some unheard of program called "Firefox.exe" tried to access illegal files!

i will second avira as well, Microsoft security essentials is great too~
