For all you mmo fags out there..
..im secretly a mmo player too :p.
If the fantasy bullshit doesn't do it for you, I play a sci-fi based mmo called Anarchy Online. The name is what got me interested (go figure) but the gameplay/community/addiction is what's got me still playing... since 2006.
Lots of fun, free to try the basic edition of it. Expansions and 30 days paid game time at a pretty low price if it tickles your fancy, and decent monthly/quarterly/etc rates..

www.anarchy-online.com scroll around, browse the forums perhaps and see whats up. It's the longest running active MMO to date, and it's getting an engine upgrade pretty soon actually..
If you decide to play, there's 3 servers that run, Atlantean, Rimor, and Die Neut Welt (german server), and you should play on Rimor, as that is where i'm stationed. If you play through the newbie island (read as mandatory tutorial where you get your first levels, etc) you will have the option to choose sides before you leave the island, go Clan as that is the side I am on and i'll help you get started.
