We are looking for Admins for the Vanilla/Competitive CS:S server. Please post in this thread your interest and why you should be considered.

You do not have to be a TD member to apply.

TD members who have been wanting to get Admin on the TD pub, the Vanilla server would be a good place for you to start and prove that you are deemed fit to admin the glorious TD pub.

As the Vanilla server has been picking up popularity, it has also been attracting hackers/grievers, and for that we need a stronger admin presence.

I'm interested in joining TD and feel this would be great practice before moving on to the main pub?
Also I have admined before and understand the concept of taking proper demo's/action when dealing with players i.e. warn,slap,slay,kick then ban if needed, also my skill level can help determine who’s hacking and who isn’t but community input is needed for skilled players trying to hide their hacks.

Ps if there is a spec cam on the servers would we have to take demos or just time and dates?

As many as we need to make sure trouble-makers don't kill the server.

Those that spend the most time on the server, are the most likely to be selected.

Reason why you should be selected: Know almost everyone for now and already been an admin in my old clan. Even if it wasn't for the same kind of game (GG, Surf). I'm almost more on the pro server than the pub one anyway :P
EDIT: I will need a refresher for demos and stuffs

How Long have you been playing on DARKLY Servers: Almost a year. I think..
Reason why you should be selected: Been an active CS:S, BF3 member, idled on a few servers to get it started. With my current CS:S "hacking" abilities I can easily distinguish from players who are cheating versus legit. I understand the current responsibilities that the ADMIN on the server withholds and it's my job to enforce the rules fairly and keeping current players happy at the same time. I've reported a few cheaters , afkers and etc to other ADMINS as soon as other players and I myself as confirmed.

I'm mature, responsible and won't abuse any powers I have. I've brought up issues and reported people to admins in the past and except for the last two months (exams and just started a new job), I've been consistently active on TD servers.

Reason why you should be selected: I'm mature and responsible. I can distinguish a hacker from a legit player due to how long I've been playing this game and knowing what to look for. I was an admin previously on TD when I was a member, and I was admin before then during my vanilla CS days. I've been playing only on the vanilla server since it was put online!

How long you have been playing on DARKLY servers: would say 3 months
Reason why you should be selected: Have been admin on other servers have about 2 or 3 years exp as admin combined across i believe 4 different servers. Took about 3 years off from the game do to life changes. I generally give people the benefit of the doubt when it comes to "hacks" as I do not like to cause rifts on servers tho i do sometimes mention when something looks out of wack.

reason why you should be selected:i ve been on cs for long enought to know whos hacking or what i love to play fair game i dont like bs around it . im new at this never did admin before but everyone start at a place

Reason why you should be selected: Previous experience administrating servers. I currently own a server, that I also administrate. On all the time, putting in more CSS hours then most TD. Also, in the last week I've gotten 3 people banned due to hacking. Always on forums, always able to be reached, always in irc @ #darkly

I guess what I'm getting at is, I've done this before, and I'm here literally all the time. What else is a pre-req to administrating a CSS server? I don't know. Ha.

Ok, ladies and gents, we've added a good number of admins today. If these admins don't put in the hours, or hacking/trolling is still an issue, we will open applications for Admins again.
