Why do you want to be a DARKLY TF2 Admin:
To assist in maintaining the highest quality game server I have ever been on.
As a father and a gamer, I have always believed in firm leadership balanced with fair treatment, one should always lead by example and expect no more and no less from others. I have always taught my son to put the teams needs above personal goals and objectives, and to be honest and never give way to temptation to take the easy way out as well as well as to give 100% to every task because theirs no such thing as a small job, just small people! I have also taught him to listen to every team member because every good commander will tell you, you can't do everything and everyone has something to teach you. I have also always thought careful planning and execution and unified goals are the success to any good command structure, and practice is necessary for the success of any team at any level. Even if people should make a mistake a mistake is proof that someone tried to do something, as long as they learn not to make the same mistake over and over it's a learning process. From my days in TF1 through the Battlefield series and into TF2 I have always tried to live up to these examples. In my years of the Battlefield game series I would always join the loosing team to learn to give the team what they needed to succeed from tactics, to a better command structure and always have a good word to say about everything because positive thinking is contagious. I can't say we always won but we had more fun then the other team and as I got better so did our teams success rate.
I left the last server I used to play on because the leadership became weak, and started to abuse power, and simply said they did not care and the room fell into rapid decay .....a pit of scammers and cheaters. So I went in search of stronger leadership and one night I fell upon Darkly servers. I was quickly impressed by the caring, not only of the strong cohesive leadership but by the quality of the regular players it produced, a room that cared. Now it is the room I predominately use when I trade and play as well as I enjoy the admin run mini games that help create a sense of community spirit. As I have gotten to know some of the fine leadership, some of them thought that I held a lot of those same quality's and urged me to apply for an mod / admin position. I thought about it for a long time because absolute power has never been my goal in the past nor will it be in my future. Teamwork, fun, success and a sense of continued community spirit; these are the things I wish to support and enforce if necessary and I would still have to work with your team members to learn how to make this happen because I never claimed to know everything. In the future I would look forward to listening to new ideas and sharing a few of my own, and that is why I submit this aplication!
