There is an useful tool out on the internet for admins and anyone who wants to report a hacker etc.
http://steamidconverter.com generates a players steam account info, ( Steam ID, In game name, community page, and even player avatar, which is useless)
This is an effective way to get hackers and other trouble makers that might just have slipped away before you got their ID from the console.
Directions for use
(From a steam game)
1. Shift+Tab and look over at the friends box
2. Go to: view players-> recent games and find whoever it is that you are looking for
3. copy that name and switch to http://steamidconverter.com
4. Insert the name and all the info should pop up
This can be done from steam as well by going to add a friend-> recent games
