I recently purchased a Bill's from box delivers via a Bitcoin merchandise trading site - for those unfamiliar, put simple Bitcoins are a form of virtual currency based upon an open-source P2P protocol, meaning there's no third party that possessed control of the system. One of the bonuses to using Bitcoins is that it's completely anonymous, and unlike using PayPal there is basically no chance of chargebacks. The deal was rather good, and after the trade I noticed the user had a private account, and suspected fraudulent means of obtaining his/her goods (the user was also selling keys and Buds on the same site). I confronted the user about this, and in the process he/she blatantly stated that the account was both an alt and that the goods may have been fraudulently obtained (see the chat log).

Despite the profile being private, backpack.tf has a snapshot of the user's backpack from March 28th, 2013, presumably from when the account was briefly public. This page of available here:

As is evident, the account is an alt dedicated for selling. But if the user created an alt account with a private profile and sold the goods via Bitcoins, he/she is clearly attempting to remain anonymous.

Curious, I checked the item histories of all the Earbuds in the snapshot, six total, and four of which were interesting:

In each of those, the player SonidZero owned the Buds before box delivers did. Not only that, but in two of then SonidZero owned the Buds directly before box delivers. SonidZero also shows up immediately before box delivers in the item history of some of the Bill's hats:

I did a search on SonidZero, and found this from only a couple days ago:

Apparently he scammed someone via PayPal for 200 keys. Not only that, but the victim of this scam shows up in the item history of some of the keys in box delivers's backpack:

Based upon these numerous incriminating observations, I believe it's clear that box delivers is the catalyst alt for this newfound scammer.
