Ok here's my picks, all these files are worth seeing. These are not in order of preference, just favorites.

1. Christopher Walken and Dennis Hopper-True Romance

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tqccyUpnZwA

Why? Who's cooler than these 2? Professionals all the way, especially Hopper, amazing peice of work, should have won a supporting Oscar just for this scene. Best piece of acting for Walken since The Deer Hunter in 1977.

2. Jean Reno, Gary Oldman and Natalie Portman-Leon the Professional

Why? He fucks these clowns up so bad it's laughable and he's soooo cool while doing it, he doesn't flinch. When Oldman asks for everyone, it's classic. Natalie Portmans big break. Intense. Bet CT none.

3. Deniro, Pacino, Kilmer, Sizemore-Heat

Why? Deniro shooting through the windshield of a lincoln while riding inside and Kilmer was skinny and not weird. Even though Sizemore is a wife beater and likes to fuck hookers he's still one hell of an actor.

4. Denzel Washington-Man on Fire

This is the scene where he cuts the guys fingers off and cauterizes them with a car cigarette lighter, making the guy talk. Brilliant and to the point. Go to 5:52 of the clip.

5. Keanu Reeves-Matrix

Lobby scene, every weapon known to man, no explanation needed.

2012 Troll of the Year
Thanks. Its almost a contrived pick, but its one I actually still own on VHS, at my dads place. Das Boot is another favorite of mine, but its a longer, more drawn out story, not one piece stands out any more than the other. Not that this should detract from the movie, its an extremely good piece.

I always liked the scene in Shawshank Redemption after Andy escapes, quoted from IMDB.

"Andy Dufresne escaped from Shawshank prison. All they found of him was a muddy set of prison clothes, a bar of soap, and an old rock hammer, damn near worn down to the nub. I used to think it would take six-hundred years to tunnel under the wall with it. Old Andy did it in less than twenty. Oh, Andy loved geology. I guess it appealed to his meticulous nature. An ice age here, million years of mountain building there. Geology is the study of pressure and time. That's all it takes really, pressure, and time. That, and a big god-damned poster. Like I said, in prison a man will do anything to keep his mind occupied. It turns out Andy's favorite hobby was totin' his wall through the exercise yard, a handful at a time. I guess after Tommy was killed, he decided he had been here just about long enough. Andy did like he was told, buffed those shoes to a high mirror shine. The guard simply didn't notice. Neither did I... I mean, seriously, how often do you really look at a mans shoes? Andy crawled to freedom through five hundred yards of shit smelling foulness I can't even imagine, or maybe I just don't want too. Five hundred yards... that's the length of five football fields, just shy of half a mile."

Other movie moments,

Blade Runner opening scene
Star Wars I opening scene

Apocalypse Now - "I love the smell of napalm in the morning"

Aliens - "Game over man, GAVE OVER!!"
