alternatively, you can press ESC key during in-game, go to help&options, and then there will be an option somewhere that explains the various game modes.

Outta curiosity, because I quit after b2k expansion, have you tried the close quarters expansion? I hear they added a lot more destruction which might help change your mind... But I personally haven't played so I'm not sure how destructive it actually is.

Why not wait for Guild Wars 2 which is coming out in a few days. I think if you pre-order it you get to play the game 3 days before official release - so, that probably means tomorrow! I know that's what I will be moving on to, and I've played WoW since 2005, on and off of course.
