How is the gameplay of GO in any way similar to tf2 or cod? If anything, Source's hitboxes and detection are a much closer match to that of cod because they were garbage in comparison.

No different in GO vs. any other version of CS, there are a few T-sided de maps though: -dust2 -season -contra

T spawn ladder breaks this map currently...I find the map noises incredibly loud too.. I can't hear a thing when I play it.

So does aztec :P

The maps are the biggest issue right now...too many props and then changes that HP made to the rehashed versions don't make sense for the gameplay changes implemented. Also 2x flash needs to be a default setting for every server- ie. competitive mode instead of something that is just enabled...

For sure, but now that it is around and used in competition there's really no need to have to worry about typing it anymore. Makes calls quicker, don't have to worry about typos, etc.

If you're looking strictly for gaming look to Steelseries 7H or Siberias. Unless sponsored by a rival company, nearly every progamer will attest that Steelseries is still on top in terms of gaming headsets and keyboards. I've been using the Siberias v2 for about a half a year now and I love...

This ^ Not that it's a big deal, but it just makes everything easier. Also, it's kind of a pain having to type /voicecom $ at the beginning of each round. I've got a line in my config that pastes all teammates $ at the beginning of the round...forgot that it only worked with certain server...

I've hopped on a few times for scrims, but generally I idle my friends' vent server and it gets confusing being on both. I get like a million messages a day from holy asking me to scrim tho :tongue: (not that I'm complaining, I appreciate the heads-up!). I'll try to hop on more often and see...

Hey Just wanted to throw up a thread for .44 and the rest of the TD crew that were able to make the tourney happen over the past weekend. (I know it's not done yet though! :razz:) I had a blast and all of my teammates, most of whom haven't played since 1.6, are starting up css in preparation...
