Well usually scamming is when someone offers you more then 8 items lets say 16 items, which requires 2 trades for something and then like in the end, he only completes 1 trade and leaves... the other way is renaming something to something else with a nametag and screwing over the other...

The TF2 economy is really uhhh variable...it's hard to pin point a price for each item....because they always come out with new stuff...so when new stuff come out they are immediatrely high value but then die out...over time....and such...
