I was thinking more along the lines of keeping the gym class style team selection, not so much having pre-registered teams (at least for now, could be open to it in the future). First 10 to commit would be a lock for the first couple of matches, everyone after that could be fill-ins or on hold...

We should get a list of interested people either today, or in the coming days, and have the teams picked the day before the actual matches. I'd like to look more into a small, multi-team online tournament within the confines of TD's momma's basement. Maybe a small fee per team/person, TD taking a percentage off the top towards server costs, first place taking a large chunk, second place breaking even. Nothing outrageous, but maybe...
