Honestly, I did too. He seemed normal the couple times he was on before.

He kept spamming a link to another server, asking someone to go in there to get him unbanned. He then proceeded to spam the chat with variations of "LOL" and then just a bunch of "t"s. Pictures included

That's all well and good in SSP, but in SMP, you have dicks who use creepers as a way to grief other people. If I'm offline, and some guy kites a creeper into my house and makes it explode, then how is that my fault?

I found a bukkit mod called Cookbook. It allows you to make custom craft recipes. http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/cookbook/ One of my friends (His name is Lord_Dart on the server) is writing a config file with the recipes for mob drops. I'll post that here once he's done for you to look at...

I certainly hope so. I have a secret passage set up, but I need sticky pistons to pull it off. Kinda a bummer right now.

Hey Brades, I found a mod that allows you to craft mob drops while in peaceful mode. Check it out. http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1129764-125-peaceful-recipes-v14-ssp/ It would be super useful on the server. Can't wait to make me some piston locks.

In lieu of using MCPatcher (which can be a pain at times), you can use MagicLauncher, which has the ability to launch Minecraft using HD Texture Packs. http://www.minecraftmine.org/magic-launcher-minecraft/

I support this suggestion. I've played on servers with it, and they're infinitely more enjoyable than the ones without it.

For the moment, with mobs not spawning, are there plans to enable the production (perhaps through a cauldron mod, or some such plug-in) of mob dropped items? Slime Balls and Blaze Rods in particular are the ones I'm most interested in, being necessary for sticky pistons and potion brewing...
