I couldn't not share this with you guys.

I'm not sure if many of you heard about or took part in the Flappy Bird app that was released not too long ago.
Well recently the developer closed down the app, and now people are selling their phones with it installed.
Better yet...

People are bidding.

It is a very difficult, challenging game in which you control a small bird that is fixed to move forward. You are forced to tap on the screen to stay afloat while existing in a world of pipes. Pipes rose from the ground up and from the sky down but they never met. Only by drifting through the narrow space between the pipes can you survive.

The creator removed it from the app stores though just recently after topping the charts.

The guy said he wasn't closing it due to legal issues (having extremely Marioesque parts) but because he couldn't stand hate he was getting from people saying the game was too hard.

Thats more than some people make in a year, or even in their life time.

Someone made a flash version of Flappy Bird on Kongregate, although it's different to the original version: http://www.kongregate.com/games/davodavo360/flappy-bird-online
On the original version, the gap between the top and bottom pipes was always the same distance apart, but the hole would move either up or down a bit.
Seems the creator of this has changed it up so that the gap becomes bigger or smaller as well as moving around.

I know. With Android, you can install apps two ways, from Google play or from a .apk file. If you have the .apk file, it doesn't matter if the dev. removes the game from Google play or not, but that's not the case with (C)Apple, thus people selling their phones with Flappy Bird.
