"an apple". Just remember this: "a consanent", "an vowel" - when it comes to the first letter of the next word. :D

yeah, i know, but its also 'A' device, gnome sane !? the device is the subject that the "a" belongs to, appe is jsut the description of the device itself. just say it out loud and ull see what i mean, doesnt sound right.

No man, it does sound right.

Correct version: "An apple iPhone can either come in an eight GB, 32 GB..."

Incorrect version: "A apple iPhone can either come in a eight GB, 32 GB..." <- Notice how this one sounds like one of those middle-class white kids who wear their pants to their knees and think they're the coolest shit on the block, but read really slowly, and stumble on words that are larger than six letters?

apple is so fucking gay that it's completely off the charts. someone proposed putting an Apple store on church street and the community said "no way, that's too gay for us." if someone used all the supercomputers in the world to measure exactly how gay apple was, the results would be like if you gave a kid a dixie cup to figure out how much water is in the ocean. it's gayness is not just immensely vast, but so incredibly dense that the 2012 prophecy is really about the day the ipad 4 gets released and all the Apple stores get so overwhelmed with homosexual mass that they collapse into black holes and tear the world apart.

"an iphone" though, thats y it sounds right. once again, "apple" is an adjective in this case, iphone is the noun. i know how it works, just felt weird in that one case.

I have the 16gb Nexus 7. It was the best thing i ever bought. Because my entire campus has WiFi Connectivity, I carry it with me (pockt sized) and can just just about everything on it, pretty much eliminating my need to carry a laptop in every day use.
The battery is truly amazing, I can stream YouTube videos for 6 hours, and still be at 80% battery. It will last you all day at the minimum.
The Nexus 7 is running the newest version Tegra 3 processor, which is a 1.2GHz Quad core processor, and a 12 core GPU with a screen resolution of 1280x800 and running the newest version of Android (Jelly Bean). It is amazingly fast and smooth, and makes the user experience so much better then any other android or apple device.
Android allows customization, which apple lacks... by a lot...
Android promotes hacking around and tampering, apples policy directly defers you from that.

In response to buckshot saying that Android has glitches, as does apple... And it is not the developer of the phone, but mainly the developers of the apps.

And with android, it is pretty much compatible with anything where as others have stated, you need iTunes for your i[Device]. Just plug and play. Upload a file to your android, and it will automatically recognize it, no hoops to jump through.

One problem with the Nexus 7!!!
They have dropped native flash support.. so if you are looking for a porn device... this is not it...
HOWEVER! it is possible to get third party apps and reinstate your flash support, not using the native Chrome browser built in.

Most amazing feature: Chrome-To-Phone (available on any device >= ICS)
Puts a button in your Chrome web browser on your desktop/laptop, that when pressed, sens the open tab directly to your phone in the even you need to run out in the middle of reading some shit.

So i went with the transformer300, so far so good. I need to download some apps and I will be golden.

The nexus was nice, but to small for my liking.

Thanks for all the advice, HBC

No, I'm talking about a phone/tablet right out of the wrap and box being laggy and noticing stutters n shit. I've witnessed it myself on the Samsung line of phones - because, like HTC, Samsung has overlays their own GUI over the basic Android framework... just, they suck at it. At least HTC offers brilliant widgets and overlays versus Samsung's bare, laggy bs. Apple - freezes like a motherfucker.. thank God for their warranties..

Yes - launching any sort of "YouTube" app will yield different results - EXCEPT, off of an android device. No one knows why, but I speculate that they're becoming like Google now: straight up filtering your search results...

Oh yes, friends, we are now in the beginning stages of having China-like internet - we find what they let us find:
Censoring Torrents etc - http://torrentfreak.com/google-starts-censoring-bittorrent-rapidshare-and-more-110126/
Censoring blogs (at it's own discretion): http://rt.com/usa/news/google-starts-censoring-blogs-375/
Basically changing their entire search algorithm to shape and mold what they want to deliver.
SUPER! :D ..................

So the solution is just to root and purge all the packages that have been added by third-parties. Not hard. On my tab I was able to get rid of almost everything natively in the apps and app framework and still be left with a fully-functioning Android runtime.

Google is trying to integrate Flash player directly into Chrome now (i think the beta is already live) so it makes sense that they would be blocking the player for devices running jellybean.

Personally, I haven't trusted Google ever since they started tying services together and began to require that people create Google accounts for YouTube even if you aren't a GMail user. But.. you do realize that Torrentfreak article is from a year and a half ago, right? Even now you can still find whatever you need to with special queries. One thing is for sure, cyberlockers are dying a quicker death now that Paypal froze payments to and from them. As for torrenting, well, it's easier than ever to link your IP to the files you've been downloading so it's probably not a smart idea to use that as a means to get pirated shit.

Actually, in most cases, it IS hard if not feasible at all (Samsung's case).

They're not just packages, they're part of the OS.

AFAIK all Samsung has done is change the UI which is a launcher application and that means it's in a package somewhere that can be downloaded, hacked up, or replaced altogether with another launcher.

I would recommend Samsung Galaxy 7.7. Comparing to any 10 inches it is much lighter and easy to take anywhere. Comparing to new Google 7 inches it is really bigger screen - ideal proportions. Screen colors are amazing and powersaving as well with super amoled. It is recently were upgraded to ICS 4.04 and easy rooted. You can do anything with it - whatever you want to see on your tab, I had some experience with Ipad as well and it is like compare freedom in USSR and USA... you restricted to do many things on Ipad.

Uh.. Flash support thats why.
But..
http://www.theverge.com/2012/8/14/3241727/flash-for-android-dies

Going to youtube.com will give you the same results, no filtering. it just depends on whether the video has Mobile support or not since Youtube is very slowly phasing out Flash.
HTML5 here we come.

Halfbaked do a search for Kingsoft Office. It is the best I have found and it is free. I also bought Docs to Go and it is pure crap. Put Kingsoft on and try it out if not happy uninstall and move on. I have Acer Iconia A500 on ICS and very pleased with it.
